Glen Arbour Golf Course - Halifax, Nova Scotia
Glen Arbour Golf Course is one of Atlantic Canada's and Halifax premiere golf destinations.
At 6800 yards in length, the Golf Course is not long by today’s standard but the combination of natural hazards, elevation changes and tricky bentgrass greens challenge players of all skill levels. In its brief few years of existence, this Golf Course has played host to many celebrities with the highlight being the inaugural Wayne Gretzky and Friend’s Invitational and most recently the BMO Canadian Ladies Open in 2005.
Mature hardwood stands frame the breathtaking views of three shimmering lakes throughout the course. Sculptured bent grass fairways, bluegrass roughs, paved cart paths and a fully manicured practice facility combine to offer an unforgettable round.
This phenomanal course was designed for all levels of play, and features a minimum of 5 sets of tees for each hole. From the back tees, the course measures 68OO yards, and as short as 4,736 yards from the front tees. Players will notice many natural water features strategically positioned throughout the course, and over 90 sand bunkers to challenge (and frustrate).
